ORU's Bain, Talbert Earn Athlete of the Week Honors

Bain
collects Athlete of the Week honors after cruising to a
second-place finish in the 400-meter dash at the NCAA Midwest
Regional last week. He finished first during his preliminary heat
and crossed the line in second during the finals with a time of
45.46. With his performance, Bain automatically qualified for the
NCAA Championships and was named to the All-Region team.

Talbert
earns the Athlete of the Week award after a first-place finish in
the women's discus throw at the NCAA Midwest Regional last week.
Her toss of 53.65m set a personal best for the senior and broke her
own school record. The mark also automatically qualified her for
the NCAA Championships. Talbert also placed 12th in the shot put
competition with a throw of 14.84m.
