NDSU's Thompson, CC's Hill Collect Women's Soccer Awards

Thompson
collects Offensive Player of the Week honors after collecting a
goal and an assist in a 2-0 shutout over Murray State last week.
Thompson's goal was scored when her corner kick found the back of
the net, while the assist was on Michelle Gaffaney's goal, which
Thompson served to her off a corner. Thompson now has 15 career
goals, which is 11th on the Bison's all-time list and has played in
every game since coming to NDSU.

Hill garners
the Defensive Player of the Week award after recording a 2-0
shutout over Mississippi Valley State in her first collegiate
match. The freshman recorded eight saves against 13 shots taken by
the Delta Devils, with two of those saves being diving stops late
in the second half to help preserve the victory.
