OU's Evans, WIU's Tyk Collect Women's Soccer Awards

collects Offensive Player of the Week honors after collecting five
points from two goals and an assist last week. In a 2-2 draw with
SEC foe Kentucky, Evans scored both the game-tying and game-winning
goal on five total shots in the match. Evans then assisted on the
lone goal of the match by
Jessica Boyle against the Phoenix.

garners Defensive Player of the Week honors after helping Western
to a 2-0-1 record. In the two victories, Tyk earned a shutout in
each one, while collecting a total of 14 saves in the three
matches. The two shutouts give her a total of seven in her career.
Tyk leads the league with a 0.61 goals against average and
currently has a four match unbeaten streak.
