IUPUI's Heideman, Ni Named Athletes of the Week

Heideman
captures the Male Athlete of the Week award after recording two
first-place finishes last week at Western Illinois. In his first
collegiate meet, Heideman won both the 50-yard breaststroke and 200-yard
breaststroke. He won the 50 breast in a time of 28.90, while
touching the wall in 2:17.26 in the 200 breast.

Ni
claims Female Athlete of the Week honors after placing first in
both diving compeitions last week at Western Illinois en route to
setting two school records as well. Her score of 279.98 in the
3-meter dive surpassed the highest point total from any league
diver last season. Ni also took first place in the 1-meter
competition with a score of 258.01 as IUPUI took second in the
meet.
