SDSU's Warkenthien Named Women's Basketball Player of the Week

Warkenthien
earns Player of the Week honors after leading No. 21 South Dakota
State to league road victories at Southern Utah and UMKC last week.
She averaged 22.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.5 blocks
per game. Her 28 points against the Thunderbirds were one shy of a
career-high and she has now scored in double figures in eight
consecutive games. On the week, Warkenthien also shot 76.2 percent
(16-21) from the field, 50 percent (3-6) from behind the arc and
100 percent (10-10) from the line.
