Schoreit earns the athlete of the week honor after placing
first in 1-meter diving with 228.23 points and 3-meter diving with
246.93 points in his first collegiate meet. The freshman from
Omaha, Neb., broke the Jackrabbits 3-meter diving record that was
previously set in 1980. Schoreit claimed two of the six individual
victories for South Dakota State in the dual meet against North
Dakota.

Czerska captures her first athlete of the week accolade after
winning the 100 butterfly, 200 fly, and 200 IM at the Oakland
Tri-Meet and after helping her team place first in the 400 medley
relay and second in the 200 medley relay at the Tom Stubbs Relay.
Czerska recorded the third fastest time in Oakland history with her
200 fly time of 2:03.25. The freshman also recorded the fifth
fastest 100 fly time (56:63) and ninth fastest 200 IM time
(2:06.73) in school history.
