ORU's Luper Captures First Weekly Honor of the Season

Luper collects the league's first Player of the Week award
for the 2009-10 campaign after leading Oral Roberts with 24.5
points per game in her first two collegiate games. The freshman
paced the Golden Eagles with 25 points and five steals in only 25
minutes of action in a 98-65 win over Texas-Pan American. She
followed that up with a 24-point, four rebound contest at No. 20
Kansas. Luper averaged 3.5 steals, 3.0 rebounds and 2.5 assists in
the two games, while shooting 52 percent (17-of-33) from the field
and 85 percent (11-of-13) from the charity stripe.
