WIU's Wilkinson and Dinkelmann Win Athlete of the Week Awards

Wilkinson captures his first Athlete of the Week award of
the season after posting a pair of career-best times and
first-place finishes in a dual meet at Illinois-Chicago last week.
The sophomore from Colleyville, Texas, recorded a first-place
finish and career-best in the 100 breast (1:00.22) and a
career-best in the 200 breast (1:13:07). Wilkinson also garnered a
first-place finish by swimming the anchor leg of the 200 free relay
(1:30:09)

Dinklemann claims her second Athlete of the Week accolade of
the season after capturing a school record in the 100 fly (53.06)
and earning a first-place finish in the 200 fly (2:07.84), the
tenth fastest time in Western Illinois history. The Belleville,
Ill., native now holds seven of the top-ten fastest times in school
history in the 200 fly, including five from this season. Dinklemann
also recorded a pair of third-place finishes in the 200 free
(2:02.34) and the 400 medley relay (4:09.15).
