ELMHURST, Ill. - Oral Roberts' Michael Craion earned the Summit League Men's Basketball Player of the Week award for his performance Dec. 22-28. The honor was the first of his career.

Craion, a Kansas City, Mo., native, totaled 18 points, 13 rebounds and seven assists while leading the Golden Eagles to an upset victory over previously unbeaten New Mexico, who entered the contest ranked as high as No. 12. The junior forward went 5-of-8 from the floor and 8-of-12 from the free throw line while recording his third double-double of the season.

Defensively, Craion recorded two blocked shots and limited New Mexico's leading scorer, Darington Hobson, to 11 points on 5-of-14 shooting.

The Lobos were the highest-ranked opponent ever defeated by ORU at home and the victory marked the Golden Eagles' first win over a ranked team since 2006 and first home win over a ranked team since 1996.
