ORU's Luper Earns Fourth Straight Weekly Honor

For a record-setting fourth-straight week, Kevi
Luper earned Player of the Week honors after averaging 25.3 points,
7.3 rebounds, 6.0 steals and 2.7 assists in three contests. The
freshman also shot 51 percent (26-51) from the field, 48 percent
(10-21) from behind the arc and 78 percent (14-18) from the line.
Luper recorded double-doubles in league wins over Southern Utah (30
points, 12 steals) and UMKC (27 points, 12 rebounds), while
tallying a team-high 19 points vs. No. 17 Texas. Her 30 points
against the Thunderbirds came in 30 minutes, while the 12 steals
matched a league record in league games and helped ORU set a new
school and league record with 18 treys vs. UMKC with five of her
own. The guard leads the nation in scoring (28.4 ppg) and is second
in steals (5.1 spg).
