WIU's Walker Earns Player of the Week Honors

Walker
earns Player of the Week honors after leading Western Illinois to
league victories at Centenary and Oral Roberts. She scored 18
points and had five steals in the win over the Ladies and followed
that up with a 16-point, seven-rebound performance against the
Golden Eagles. For the week, Walker averaged 17.0 points, 6.0
rebounds, 3.0 steals and 2.5 assists, while only committing one
turnover and shooting 50 percent from the floor. At the free throw
line, she was 10-of-10 in the two games, extending her consecutive
free throws made streak to 35. Walker also became the all-time
leader at WIU in career three-point field goals made with
139.
