earns The Summit League's Player of the Week award after belting
two home runs in as many games lifting Centenary to a pair of wins
at Grambling (6-0) and against Louisiana-Monroe (5-4). The
freshman from Dallas, Texas, went 4-for-6 (.667), with two runs
scored and a pair of RBI last week. Smith also swiped two bases
against Grambling. She has hit four homers and collected six RBI in
the last four games for the Ladies.

was named The Summit League's Pitcher of the Week for the second
time this season as she tossed her second complete game shutout at
Grambling. The freshman right-hander scattered two hits over seven
scoreless innings, striking out nine and walking two. She held
Grambling to a .091 batting average and hasn't allowed an extra
base hit in 14 innings.
