Smith
earned the Men's Player of the Week award after going 3-0 in
singles play and 3-0 in doubles while helping lead UMKC to three
consecutive victories. Playing the No. 2 position in singles, Smith
topped Gonzaga's Roman Dojcak and Cody Hall of Air Force in three
sets and swept Northern Colorado's Calix Van Lier. Smith combined
with Bret Berryman to claim No. 1 wins over Gonzaga's duo of
Feddersen/Fenney, Francis/Hall of Air Force and Northern Colorado's
Perez/Van Lier. For the year, Smith is 3-2 in singles and 4-0 in
doubles.

victory at the No. 3 singles position. Against Creighton, Wang
defeated Nicole Nakaoka, 6-4, 6-7 (8), 6-3. In doubles play, she
teamed with Amanda Griffin at No. 1 and dropped an 8-6 decision to
the Bluejays' team of Reddin/Nakaoka.
