ELMHURST, Ill. – North Dakota State's Ben Woodside earned the season's final Summit League Player of the Week award after averaging 30.5 points, 5.5 assists and 3.5 rebounds in a pair of victories that secured the outright league title. He had 2.5 steals per game, recorded a 1.6 assist-to-turnover ratio and connected on 51.4 percent of his field goals attempts and 50 percent of his three-point attempts during the week.

Woodside scored 32 points on 10-of-17 shooting, including 3-of-5 treys, with nine free throws, four assists, three steals and two rebounds in a victory over Centenary that clinched at least a share of the league title for the Bison.

Two nights later, Woodside scored a game-high 29 points and had seven assists, five rebounds, two steals and one block in a win at Oral Roberts that snapped ORU's 35-game home league winning streak and secured the No. 1 seed in The Summit League Championship. Woodside hit 10-of-11 free throw attempts, including a clutch 7-of-8 performance over the game's final 34.9 seconds, and connected on 9-of-20 shots from the field.

Woodside set a new NDSU single season scoring mark at ORU, finishing the regular season with 668 points, and his 199 free throws made are the fifth-highest season total in Summit League history.

This week's accolade marks the second of the season for Woodside, who claimed the honor on Dec. 15 following a 60-point performance, and the fourth for a Bison player.
