earns The Summit League's Player of the Week award after helping
IPFW to a series sweep of IUPUI and a split at Detroit. The sophomore catcher hit .533
(8-for-15), drove in four runs, had a pair of doubles, belted a
homer and scored four runs for the Mastodons. She also called a weekend of games
behind the plate in which the Dons had a 1.31 ERA and 21
strikeouts with just nine walks.

earned The Summit League's Pitcher of the Week for the second time
this season, after she pitched a one-hit shutout and collected a
pair of wins for Southern Utah over the weekend. The junior lefty posted a 1.36 ERA in
14.2 innings allowing just two earned runs, while fanning 13
batters. Brooks leads the
league in innings pitched (156.2), strikeouts (157), strikeouts
looking (51), appearances (30) and starts (22).
