SDSU's Sunnarborg Earns Player of the Week Honors

Sunnarborg collects her first career Player of the
Week honor after notching her first two career double-doubles,
helping SDSU move into a tie for first place with victories over
Oakland and IPFW. The sophomore scored a career-high 20 points in
both games, while grabbing a career-best 11 rebounds vs. the Golden
Grizzlies and 10 against the Mastodons with six of those coming on
the offensive end. She also dished out a career-high four assists
vs. IPFW. For the week, Sunnarborg, averaged 20.0 points, 10.5
rebounds, 2.5 assists and 2.0 blocks in 29.5 minutes per contest.
The Osseo, Minn., native also shot 74 percent (17-of-23) from the
field and was a perfect 6-of-6 from the line.
