IUPUI's Colby, WIU's Atkinson Receive Weekly League Awards
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Colby collects her first career Offensive Player of
the Week award after collecting six points in three IUPUI wins last
week. The freshman forward played a role in both game-winning goals
in the two League matches, setting up Alicia Brock against Southern
Utah and Ashley Doreski vs. UMKC. Colby also tallied the second
Jaguar goal against the Kangaroos and added a goal in their 3-1 win
over Butler earlier in the week. She has now scored a point in four
straight matches dating back to Sept. 19.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Laura Atkinson, Western Illinois

Atkinson earns her second career Defensive Player of
the Week honor and first this season after guiding Western Illinois
to three 1-0 shutouts last week in net. In the three victories, she
recorded a total of 14 saves, including eight against League foe
UMKC. The sophomore tied the Leatherneck single-season record with
five shutouts and moved into third place on the WIU career shutout
list with six. With the three shutouts, Atkinson lowered her
league-leading GAA to 0.58 on the year.
