OU's Haelewyn, NDSU's Wolfgram Named Players of the Week
ELMHURST, Ill. - Oakland's Dani Haelewyn and North Dakota
State's Marissa Wolfgram were named The Summit League's Offensive
and Defensive Women's Soccer Players of the Week for their
performances Oct. 25-31.
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Haelewyn collects her first career Offensive Player
of the Week award after leading Oakland to a pair of victories last
week. The senior tallied either a goal or assist in both matches
against Southern Utah and UMKC. She scored OU's final goal in a 3-1
victory over the Thunderbirds and also assisted on the first goal
of the match. Against the Kangaroos, Haelewyn scored the
match-tying goal to force overtime, eventually giving Oakland a 2-1
win. For the week, Haelewyn registered five points on two goals and
one assist.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Marissa Wolfgram, North Dakota State

Wolfgram earns her second Defensive Player of the
Week honor this season after helping North Dakota State clinch a
spot in the league tournament with two wins last week. The senior
kept Oral Roberts' leading scorer Jennifer Abernathy from taking a
shot and held the entire Golden Eagle squad without a shot in the
second half to earn the come-from-behind victory. She also assisted
on Quin Ryan's equalizer after sending a long ball into the middle
of the box and scored the game-winner on a penalty kick. Against
Centenary, Wolfgram led the Bison to its seventh shutout of the
year, tallied her first goal of the season and limited the Ladies
to just one shot in the match.
