Oakland Sweeps Final Player of the Week Awards
ELMHURST, Ill. - Oakland midfielder Josh Bennett and goalkeeper
Mitch Hildebrandt were named The Summit League's Men's Soccer
Players of the Week for their performances during the week of Nov.
1-7. The awards marked the final weekly honors of the 2010
season.
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Josh Bennett
MF, Jr., Howell, Mich./Hartland
Bennett earns his first career award after scoring the
game-winning goal against Centenary in a victory that lifted
Oakland into the league tournament. The marker was Bennett's first
career goal and clinched the final open berth in next week's Summit
League Championship presented by American Airlines.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Mitch Hildebrandt
GK, Jr., Livonia, Mich./Stevenson
Hildebrandt earned his third award of the season and the
sixth of his career after shutting out Centenary in a win that put
Oakland into the postseason. The junior goalkeeper made a pair of
saves against the Gents to notch his seventh shutout of the season.
Earlier in the week, Hildebrandt made eight stops in an overtime
loss to Detroit.
