South Dakota State's Wolters Named Player of the Week
ELMHURST, Ill. - South Dakota State's Nate Wolters was named
Summit League Player of the Week for his performance during the
week of Dec. 20-26.

Wolters earns his second career award, and first outright,
after a week that included a game-winning shot at the buzzer, a
league season-high assist game and an average of 20.5 points and
8.5 assists in two outings. At Central Michigan, Wolters lifted
South Dakota State to victory by hitting the game-winning three at
the buzzer in a 72-69 road triumph. In that contest, Wolters scored
25 points, including 9-of-13 from the free throw line, with six
assists and four rebounds. Later in the week at No. 16/17
Minnesota, Wolters amassed a Summit League season-best 11 assists
while scoring 16 points and adding four boards. For the week,
Wolters shot 50 percent from beyond the arc, 46 percent from the
field and 73 percent from the line.
