ORU Sweeps First Women's Soccer Player of the Week Awards

Soto captures the first Offensive Player of the Week
award of the season after leading the Golden Eagles to a pair of
victories over UALR and Northwestern State last week. The senior
accounted for both goals vs. UALR, tallying the game-winning goal
and assisting on the insurance goal. She also registered a goal in
the 3-1 win over Northwestern State. For the week, Soto scored two
goals with one assist, while recording five points and one
game-winner.

Sr., GK (Mission Viejo, Calif./Mission Viejo)
Wheeler collects the Defensive Player of the Week
nod after recording her eighth career shutout with five saves in
the 2-0 win over UALR Friday. She made three stops against
Northwestern State, while only surrendering one goal. The Mission
Viejo, Calif., native registered a 0.50 GAA with eight saves and a
shutout on the week.
