North Dakota State's Felt Named Player of the Week
ELMHURST, Ill. - North Dakota State's Mike Felt was named Summit
League Player of the Week for his performance during the week of
Jan. 3-9.

Felt earned his first career award after coming off the bench to
score 43 points in 42 minutes in a pair of North Dakota State
victories. Against Oral Roberts, Felt scored 22 points on 4-of-6
shooting from three-point range and tied a school record with
10-of-10 shooting from the free throw line, where he converted
eight attempts in the final 65 seconds of a six-point victory. Felt
scored eight consecutive points in the second half against ORU to
help the Bison pull away after trailing 52-51. Two nights later
against Centenary, Felt totaled 21 points, all on threes,
connecting on 7-of-11 attempts from beyond the arc to tie the NDSU
record for three-pointers in a game. He also added an assist and a
steal in the victory. In the two NDSU wins, Felt averaged 21.5
points and converted 11-of-17 three-point attempts and all 10 free
throws after entering the week averaging 3.5 points per game and
having made 9-of-20 threes and 3-of-6 free throw in 97 season
minutes.
