ORU's Luper Collects Second Player of the Week Honor This Season
ELMHURST, Ill. - Oral Roberts' Kevi Luper was named Summit
League Women's Basketball Player of the Week for her performance
during the week of Jan. 4-10.

Luper captures her second Player of the Week award this season
and ninth of her career after leading Oral Roberts to its
first-ever road sweep of North Dakota State and South Dakota State.
The guard poured in 28 points and had four steals at SDSU, before
scoring 29 points, shooting 12-of-20, grabbing six rebounds and
posting three steals at NDSU. For the week, Luper averaged 28.5
points, four rebounds and 3.5 steals per game. On the year, she is
averaging 3.8 steals per game which ranks second in the country and
is sixth in points per game with 23.4. She shot 50 percent
(23-of-46) from the field and 78 percent (7-of-9) from the free
throw line. In the win over the Jackrabbits, the sophomore became
just the sixth member in Golden Eagle history with 1,000 career
points and 200 career steals.
