coached to the title, and 383 individual and relay champions ...
Completed his 33rd season at Oakland University by winning a 12th
consecutive men's championship and 10th straight women's crown in
2010-11 ... Winner of 288 dual meets in his career ... Coached
seven NCAA Division I All-Americans during his career ... Mentored
four Olympians: Hilton Woods (Netherland Antilles-1988), Scott
Dickens (Canada-2004), Dario DiFazio (Venezuela-1992, 1996) and
Haitham Hassan (Egypt-2000) ... Won four NCAA Division II national
titles, coached 59 NCAA Division II national champions and 93 NCAA
Division II All-Americans ... A graduate of Chico State University
in 1976, and was inducted into the CSU Hall of Honor in 1998 and
the City of Chico Hall of Fame in 2009.
