United States Basketball Writers' Association All-America during
the 1993-94 season and an Honorable Mention honoree by the USBWA in
1992-93 … Was the initial first team All-America selection
in the history of the Mid-Continent Conference (now Summit League)
… Named Mid-Continent Conference Player of the Year in
1993-94 and first team all-conference in 1992-93 … Two-time
conference all-tournament team selection … Led the league
and ranked 16th in the nation in scoring in 1993-94 (21.97 ppg),
while leading NIU to its second-straight NCAA Tournament appearance
… Currently ranks second in league history for career points
per game (19.85) and third for single season points scored (659),
both set during the 1993-94 season … Her performance in
1993-94 ranks fifth on the league's single-season list for points
per game (21.97), third in field goals attempted (538) and free
throws made (161) and fourth for free throws attempted (205)
… Following her career at NIU, she played in the American
Basketball League for the New England Blizzard and Chicago Condors,
before competing in the WNBA with the Phoenix Mercury, Charlotte
Sting, Los Angeles Sparks and Orlando Miracle … Inducted
into the NIU Athletics Hall of Fame and Illinois Basketball
Coaches' Association Hall of Fame … After playing
professionally, spent six seasons as the assistant coach at her
alma mater and is currently in her first season as an assistant at
the University of Arizona.
