ELMHURST, Ill. - South Dakota's Amber Hegge was named The Summit
League's Women's Basketball Player of the Week for her performance
Nov. 15-21.

Hegge earns her first career Player of the Week award after leading
South Dakota to a 73-56 win over Northern Arizona in the
season-opener for the Coyotes. The senior scored 30 points in 32
minutes of action on 11-of-17 (65 percent) shooting from the field
and was 3-for-4 (75 percent) from behind the arc. She grabbed eight
rebounds and dished out four assists and added two blocks. Hegge
also connected on five three throws in the game.
