Oakland's Hamilton Named Player of the Week
ELMHURST, Ill. - Oakland's Reggie Hamilton was named Summit
League Player of the Week for his performance during the week of
Feb. 7-13.

Hamilton earned his second career award, both coming in the past
month, after scoring 30 points with six rebounds and three assists
in Oakland's win over then-second-place IPFW. In the game, Hamilton
connected on 7-of-12 shots (58.3 percent) from the floor, including
three-of-six (50 percent) from beyond the arc, and converted
13-of-17 free throw attempts (76.5 percent). Hamilton came up with
a key block on a potential go-ahead three-point attempt with four
seconds remaining to help preserve the Golden Grizzlies' victory.
He also drained a three-pointer with 6:58 remaining to tie the game
at 60 and Oakland never relinquished the lead after that
basket.
