Hamilton earned his second career award, both coming in the past month, after scoring 30 points with six rebounds and three assists in Oakland's win over then-second-place IPFW. In the game, Hamilton connected on 7-of-12 shots (58.3 percent) from the floor, including three-of-six (50 percent) from beyond the arc, and converted 13-of-17 free throw attempts (76.5 percent). Hamilton came up with a key block on a potential go-ahead three-point attempt with four seconds remaining to help preserve the Golden Grizzlies' victory.
