South Dakota State's Wolters Named Player of the Week

ELMHURST, Ill. - South Dakota State's Nate Wolters was named Summit League Player of the Week for his performance during the week of Feb. 14-20.

Wolters claimed his third award this season after averaging 29.5 points, 7.0 rebounds and 6.5 assists in a pair of road games against top-half league opponents. At IPFW, Wolters scored 22 of his 30 points in the second half to lead the Jackrabbits to their first-ever win in Fort Wayne. He also added nine rebounds, seven assists and one steal while converting 11-of-13 free throw attempts. Two nights later at league champion Oakland, Wolters scored 29 points, connecting on 11 field goals, with six assists, five rebounds and a pair of steals.
