ORU's Schiller, SUU's Crockett Earn Weekly Baseball Awards
ELMHURST, Ill. - Oral Roberts' Cam Schiller and Southern Utah's
James Crockett were named as The Summit League's Baseball Player
and Pitcher of the Week for their performances April 18-24.

Schiller earns his first career Player of the Week honor
after batting .538 in league games last week, collecting a series
split at North Dakota State. The junior had a hit in every game of
the series, including two multi-hit contests. He belted two home
runs with three RBI in game one, along with two doubles and three
RBI in game three of the series. In five games last week, including
a one-run loss to No. 12 Arkansas, Schiller batted .438 with nine
RBI, seven hits, six runs, three homers, three walks, two doubles
and two sacrifices. He also had a 1.125 slugging percentage and
.524 on-base percentage.

Crockett collects his second Pitcher of the Week
award this season after throwing a complete-game shutout in the
second game of a doubleheader at first place South Dakota State
Saturday. The senior southpaw tossed seven innings, giving up no
runs on just two hits with 11 punch outs and two walks. The
complete-game shutout was Crockett's first of the
season.
