IUPUI's Hock, SUU's Booth Earns Women's Soccer Honors
ELMHURST, Ill. - IUPUI's Megan Hock and Southern Utah's Charly
Booth were named The Summit League's Offensive and Defensive
Women's Soccer Players of the Week for their performances Aug.
22-28.
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Megan Hock, IUPUI
Sr., F (Greenwood, Ind./Center Grove)
Hock records her fifth career Offensive Player of the Week honor
after scoring two goals to lead the Jaguars to a 1-1-0 record last
week. The senior tallied her 15th career game-winner in
the second overtime period to give IUPUI a 2-1 win over Eastern
Michigan. She then notched the team's lone goal in the loss to
Detroit to give her four points on the week. Her 15 game-winning
goals are second in Summit League history.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Booth collects her second career Defensive Player of the Week
honor after helping Southern Utah to a 1-0-1 record last week
against a pair of Missouri Valley Conference teams in the Mortenson
Mountain Classic. In the 2-1 win over Northern Iowa, the junior
collected three saves, one of those coming in the final seconds to
help preserve the victory. She also recorded an assist on the
match-tying goal vs. the Panthers. Against Drake, Booth recorded
four saves to up her weekly total to seven.
