ORU's Morrison Named Player of the Week
ELMHURST, Ill. - Oral Roberts' Dominique Morrison was named Summit League Player of the Week for his performance during the week of Dec. 26-Jan. 1.

Morrison earned his second career honor and first of the season after averaging 27.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game in Summit League road victories over UMKC and South Dakota. Against the Kangaroos, Morrison scored 28 points, including 7-of-13 shooting from the field while converting 14-of-15 free throw attempts, and pulled down nine rebounds. In his next outing against the Coyotes, Morrison totaled 27 points, making 10-of-15 shots, including 5-of-8 from beyond the arc, to go along with four rebounds and three assists. In addition to tying his season-high with five treys at USD, Morrison scored six straight points down the stretch that extended ORU's lead to double-digits. For the week, he shot 60 percent (17-of-28) from the field, 50 percent (5-of-10) from three-point range and 89 percent (16-of-18) from the charity stripe. Morrison has scored 25 or more points in each of his last three games.
