WIU's Ogilvie and OU's Barretta Named Swimming and Diving Athletes of the Week

ELMHURST, Ill. - Western Illinois' Doug Ogilvie and Oakland's Marcella Barretta were named The Summit League's Swimming and Diving Athletes of the Week for their performances Jan. 24-30.

MEN'S ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Doug Ogilvie, Western Illinois
Fr., Oswego, Ill./Oswego
Ogilvie earns his third career Swimming and Diving Athlete of the Week award and second-straight in as many weeks, after setting a school record and posting a NCAA Zone qualifying score in the three-meter dive. The freshman diver won both the one-meter (298.95) and the three-meter events (354.53) against Milwaukee. In addition to the NCAA Zone qualifying, Ogilvie's three-meter score marks a new school record, pool record and a league-best this season.

WOMEN'S ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Barretta claims her second career Swimming and Diving Athlete of the Week award and first of the season after helping the Golden Grizzlies defeat league opponent IUPUI. The senior diver won both events with a one-meter score of 268.12 and a three-meter score of 288.38.
