ELMHURST, Ill. - Western Illinois' Ceola Clark III and Oral Roberts' Dominique Morrison were named Summit League Co-Players of the Week for their performances Jan. 2-Jan. 8.

Clark earned his second career award and first of the season after averaging 18.7 points, 6.0 assists, 4.0 rebounds and 2.7 steals per game in three Western Illinois victories. In a victory over South Dakota, Clark scored 19 points, including five three-point baskets, and dished out seven assists with three rebounds and three steals. In a victory at Oakland, he totaled 19 points, six assists, five rebounds and two steals and nearly duplicated those numbers two days later at IPFW with 18 points, five assists, four rebounds and three steals. For the week, Clark shot 61.3 percent (19-of-31) from the field, 55.6 percent from three-point range (10-of-18) while committing just four turnovers and four fouls in three games. His 162 career steals are five away from setting a new school record.

Morrison collected his third career honor and second in as many weeks after averaging 27.3 points per game in leading Oral Roberts to victories over Oakland, North Dakota State and South Dakota State for its first 6-0 start in Summit League play since 2007-08. In a battle for first place with South Dakota State to close the week, Morrison scored a career-high 38 points on 11-of-15 shooting, including 5-of-8 from beyond the arc, and connected on all 11 free throw attempts while adding seven rebounds to lead the Golden Eagles to victory. In a win at Oakland to open the week, he poured in 20 points by connecting on 7-of-11 field goal attempts, including 6-of-8 from beyond the arc, as ORU snapped the Golden Grizzlies' 31-game home court league win streak. Two nights later against North Dakota State, Morrison scored 24 points with five rebounds while converting 4-of-5 three-point attempts. For the week, Morrison shot 60 percent (24-of-40) from the field, 71 percent (15-of-21) from three-point range and 100 percent (19-of-19) from the charity stripe.
