South Dakota State Duo Captures Weekly Swimming and Diving Awards
ELMHURST, Ill. – South Dakota State's Brad Schoreit and Andee Budahl were named The Summit League's Swimming and Diving Athletes of the Week for their performances Nov. 13-19.
MEN'S ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Brad Schoreit, South Dakota State
Sr. // Omaha, Neb.
Schoreit collects his fourth career Athlete of the Week honor and first of the season after sweeping the diving events in South Dakota State's 189-108 victory over league rival South Dakota and setting a school record in the 3-meter dive. The senior won the 1-meter dive with a personal-best score of 274.81 and the 3-meter dive with a school-record 292.58 points. His 3-meter score ranks second-best in the league, while his 1-meter score is third.

Budahl earns her first career Athlete of the Week honor after recording three individual event wins en route to the Jackrabbits' 178-118 win over the Coyotes. The junior finished first in the 500 Free (5:13.94) and the 1,000 Free (10:32.97). She also won the 200 IM in 2:13.96, the sixth-fastest league time this season.
