Nezianya Captures Women's Basketball Player of the Week Honors
ELMHURST, Ill. – Kansas City forward Kim Nezianya was named The Summit League's Women's Basketball Player of the Week for her performances Nov. 19-25.

Nezianya earns her first Player of the Week award of her career after being named to the LIU Turkey Classic All-Tournament Team. Prior to the tournament, Nezianya collected her 16th career double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds in a loss at VCU while adding three assists. The senior forward nearly recorded another double-double in the win over LIU Brooklyn as she had 17 points and nine rebounds and shot 57 percent (8-for-14) with 16 points against Drexel. For the week, Nezianya averaged 14.3 points, 7.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.3 steals per contest while shooting 44 percent (18-of-41) from the field, 40 percent (2-of-5) from behind the arc and 71 percent (5-of-7) at the line.
