South Dakota State's Eide Named Player of the Week
ELMHURST, Ill. – South Dakota State guard Ashley Eide was named The Summit League's Women's Basketball Player of the Week for her performances Dec. 17-23.

Eide captures her second career Player of the Week award and first this season after guiding South Dakota State to a pair of wins last week. On Tuesday, the senior guard tallied 25 points with five rebounds, three assists and three steals in a victory over Delaware State. The Sioux Falls, S.D., native followed that up with a double-double in the win at Georgetown on Friday. She tied a career-high with 27 points and set a new career-high with 13 rebounds in the win. For the week, Eide averaged 26 points, nine rebounds, three assists and two steals per game while averaging just 29.5 minutes per contest. She shot 63 percent (17-of-27) from the field, 53 percent (9-of-17) from 3-point range and was 82 percent (9-of-11) at the free throw line.
