IPFW's Muadi, UMKC's Dalvai Receive Weekly Honors
ELMHURST, Ill. - IPFW's Martin Muadi and UMKC's Eva Dalvai were named as The Summit League's men's and women's tennis players of the week for their performances Feb. 7-13.
Martin Muadi, IPFW

Muadi claims his first career award after posting a perfect 2-0 singles record and 1-0 doubles mark during the week. Playing the No. 6 singles position, Muadi posted straight set wins over Northern Illinois' Bryant Poggensee-Wei (0 and 0) and SIU Edwardsville's Dylan Reed (0 and 1). At No. 2 doubles, Muadi teamed with Daniel Kang to defeat SIUE's tandem of Reed and Vincent, 8-2.

Eva Dalvai, UMKC

Dalvai garners her first career award after winning both singles matches in straight sets and adding a doubles victory during the week. Playing the No. 1 singles position, Dalvai notched UMKC's first ever dual point victory over Kansas by defeating Monica Pezzotti in a 6-2, 6-2 victory. Dalvai then helped lead the Kangaroos to their first victory over Creighton, by accounting for two of her team's five points. At No. 1 singles, Dalvai won 6-3, 6-3 over Jennie Hartjes after teaming with Laura Bouet at No. 1 doubles for a 9-7 victory over the CU duo of Schmidt and McMullan. Against Kansas, Dalvai and Bouet nearly claimed another win, falling short in a tiebreaker, 8-7 (8-6).
