ELMHURST, Ill. - South Dakota State's Nate Wolters was named Summit League Player of the Week for his performance Feb. 13-19.

Wolters collects his eighth career award and fifth of the season after leading his team to a pair of victories during the week. Against North Dakota State, Wolters made 14 field goals, most in a Summit League game this season, on 18 attempts while totaling 30 points in 28 minutes. He also added five assists, three steals and three rebounds without committing a turnover. In the nationally-televised Sears BracketBuster contest against Buffalo, Wolters scored 22 points while dishing out eight assists and pulling down six rebounds. Wolters averaged 26 points, 6.5 assists, 4.5 rebounds and two steals in 33.5 minutes per game for the week and recorded a remarkable 6.5 assist/turnover ratio. His five Player of the Week honors in 2011-12, tie him for the second-highest season total on record.
