Oakland's Hamilton Named Player of the Week
ELMHURST, Ill. - Oakland's Reggie Hamilton was named Summit League Player of the Week for his performance Feb. 20-26.

Hamilton collects his seventh career award and fifth of the season after setting a new Summit League season scoring record while leading his team to a pair of victories during the week. At UMKC, Hamilton totaled 31 points, including 18-of-22 from the free throw line, both Summit League highs this season, while adding seven assists, seven rebounds and three steals in 32 minutes. Two nights later at South Dakota, Hamilton turned in a 31-point performance that enabled him to set a new Summit League season scoring record. Hamilton converted 11-of-18 field goal attempts, including 5-of-9 from beyond the arc, while totaling six assists, five rebounds and one steal. For the week, Hamilton averaged 31.0 points, 6.5 assists, 6.0 rebounds and 4.0 steals per game and shot 61.5 percent from three-point range. His 790 points this season eclipsed the previous record set by North Dakota State's Ben Woodside in 2008-09.
