SDSU's Wolters Named Player of the Week
ELMHURST, Ill. - South Dakota State's Nate Wolters was named Summit League Player of the Week for is performance Jan. 30-Feb. 5.

Wolters collects his seventh career award and league-leading fourth of the season after averaging 27.5 points, 6.5 assists and 3.0 steals in a pair of South Dakota State victories. Against first-place Oral Roberts, Wolters nearly notched a double-double, finishing with 24 points and nine assists in a victory that snapped ORU's 19-game Summit League win streak. Wolters added three rebounds and two steals while shooting 50 percent (8-16) from the field and 87.5 percent (7-8) from the foul line. Two nights later, Wolters scored 31 points, converting 10-of-16 shots (62.5 percent) from the field and 11-of-13 (84.6 percent) at the foul line in a win over Southern Utah. He had four steals and added four assists and three rebounds in the contest. On the week, Wolters totaled 13 assists while committing just four turnovers for an assist/turnover ratio of 3.3.
