ELMHURST, Ill. - Southern Utah's Bo Cuthbertson, Oral Roberts' Drew Bowen and South Dakota State's Stephen Bougher were named The Summit League's Baseball Player and Pitchers of the Week for their performances March 12-18.


PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Bo Cuthbertson, Southern Utah
Sr., SS (Glendale, Ariz./Cactus)

Cuthbertson earns his second career award after collecting three multi-hit games last week. In Friday's win over Northern Colorado, the senior went 4-for-5 with seven RBI, three runs scored, two triples and a double. The shortstop also went 2-for-3 with a double and two walks against UNLV and added two hits and a stolen base in the series finale vs. Northern Colorado. For the week, Cuthbertson batted .533 (8-for-15) with eight RBI, seven runs scored, four walks, two doubles, two triples and two steals. He also had a .933 slugging percentage and .632 on-base percentage in the four games.

PITCHERS OF THE WEEK
Drew Bowen, Oral Roberts
Jr., RHP (Tulsa, Okla./Memorial)

Bowen collects his second honor of the season and third of his career after tossing a complete game shutout against Missouri State. The junior had five strikeouts and walked one while giving up six hits in the 1-0 Golden Eagle victory. It was Bowen's second complete game shutout of the season.


Stephen Bougher, South Dakota State
Jr., RHP (Papillion, Neb./Papillion La Vista South)

Bougher also records his second award of the season and third of his career after throwing a complete game shutout at SIU Edwardsville. The junior surrendered just three hits while striking out six in the 5-0 Jackrabbit win. It was his second consecutive shutout and he retired 10 batters in a row during one stretch.
