Bowen and Western Illinois' Nick Smith
were named The Summit League's Baseball Player and Pitchers of the
Week for their performances Feb. 27-March 4.

WEEK
Cam Schiller, Oral Roberts
Sr., 2B (Prescott, Ariz./Yavapai College)
Schiller collects the Player of the Week award after leading Oral
Roberts to a 4-0 record and batting .529 with four extra base hits
on the week. The second baseman had two three-hit games with a
slugging percentage of 1.000 and on-base percentage of .526. In the
first game of a three-game set with Alcorn State, Schiller went
3-for-5 with three runs scored, three RBI, a double and home run.
For the week, the senior drove in nine runs, had seven RBI with two
doubles, two homers and no strikeouts.

Sr., RHP (Tulsa, Okla./Memorial)
Bowen captured Pitcher of the Week honors after tossing a complete
game with 10 strikeouts in an 11-1 win over Alcorn State Friday.
The senior right hander surrendered just one earned run and one
walk to lower his season ERA to 3.32. The nine inning complete game
was his first of the season and fourth of his
career.

Western Illinois
Fr., RHP (Greenfield, Ind./New Palestine)
Smith collects his first career Pitcher of the Week honor after
notching his first career win over No. 8 Georgia Sunday. The
Greenfield, Ind., native allowed just two earned runs while
striking out seven Bulldogs over 7.2 innings of
work.
