Haelewyn, Pavlika, Coley Capture Weekly Awards
ELMHURST, Ill. – Oakland's Abigail Haelewyn was named The Summit League's Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week, while Fort Wayne's Sam Pavlika and Oakland's Shannon Coley were selected as Defensive Players of the Week for their performances Sept. 10-16.
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Abigail Haelewyn, Oakland

Haelewyn earns her first career Offensive Player of the Week award after playing a role in all three Oakland goals last week. On Friday, she assisted in both goals in a 2-0 shutout victory over Northern Kentucky. In a 1-1 double overtime draw against regionally-ranked Northwestern, Haelewyn served a through pass to earn the assist on Kyla Kellermann's goal. Haelewyn recorded three points on the three assists for the week and added three shots with one being on goal.

Sam Pavlika, Fort Wayne

Pavlika collects her first career Defensive Player of the Week honor after notching a double overtime shutout victory over regionally-ranked Miami (Ohio) Saturday. On Sunday, she surrendered just one goal in an overtime loss to Valparaiso, which had a 4-2-1 record entering the match. For the week, Pavlika had 14 saves, a 0.45 goals against average and a .933 save percentage.
Shannon Coley, Oakland
Sr. // GK // Auburn Hills, Mich.
Coley collects her second-straight and third career Defensive Player of the Week award after recording a shutout win at Northern Kentucky and a 1-1 double overtime tie vs. regionally-ranked Northwestern. With the shutout over the Norse, she moved into a tie for fourth place in career shutouts (9) at Oakland and is now tied for 13th place in Summit League history. Coley registered eight saves, a 0.45 goals against average and .889 save percentage for the week.
