Chadick, Pavlika Capture Women's Soccer Weekly Honors

ELMHURST, Ill. – Kansas City's Hannah Chadick and Fort Wayne's Sam Pavlika were named The Summit League's Women's Soccer Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week for their performances Sept. 17-23.

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Hannah Chadick, Kansas City

Chadick records her first career Offensive Player of the Week award after collecting her first career goal and second career assist last week. The sophomore forward scored the match-winner over Alabama A&M as she took a rebound off a missed shot and put it by the Bulldog goalie. She was also credited with an assist in the one-goal loss at Drake. For the week, Chadick recorded three points off a goal and assist and took three shots.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Sam Pavlika, Fort Wayne

Pavlika earns her second career and second-straight Defensive Player of the Week award after recording a shutout victory last week. The freshman goalkeeper notched three saves in a 3-0 win over Goshen. Pavlika leads the league with a .860 save percentage and lowered her goals against average to 0.73, which is second in The Summit League.
