ELMHURST, Ill. – Kansas City guard Eilise O'Connor and Omaha guard Paige Frauendorfer were named The Summit League's Women's Basketball Players of the Week for their performances Jan. 21-27.

O'Connor collects her third Player of the Week award this season after averaging 22 points per game for Kansas City last week. In Thursday's one-point loss at IUPUI, the junior guard scored 24 points, grabbed five rebounds with three assists and two steals. She also shot 53 percent (8-of-15) from the field and set the school record for free throws made in a season. On Saturday, O'Connor tallied 20 points and pulled down nine rebounds in the win at Western Illinois. The San Francisco, Calif., native has a streak of 22-straight free throws made and has connected on 39 of her last 40 at the charity stripe. For the week, O'Connor averaged 22 points, seven rebounds, 2.5 assists and two steals per game. She was perfect at the line (11-of-11) and shot 44 percent (15-of-34) from the field and 75 percent (3-of-4) from behind the arc.

Frauendorfer earns her third Player of the Week honor after leading the Mavericks in a pair of league games last week. She scored a season-high 25 points and grabbed eight rebounds while shooting 62 percent (10-of-16) from the field in a win over North Dakota State on Thursday. Frauendorfer became the 25th player in Omaha history to eclipse the 1,000-point plateau against the Bison. She followed that performance with a 16-point, six-rebound, four-steal effort in the loss to league-leading South Dakota State Saturday. On the week, Frauendofer averaged 20.5 points, seven rebounds, three steals and one assist. She shot 49 percent (16-of-33) from the field, making her lone three-point attempt, and was a perfect 8-of-8 from the free throw line.
