WIU’s Ogilvie, USD’s Hertting Named Initial Divers of the Week

ELMHURST, Ill. – Western Illinois' Doug Ogilvie and South Dakota's Greysen Hertting were named the Men's and Women's Divers of the Week for their performances Oct. 5-14, marking the initial awards of the 2013-14 season.

MEN'S DIVER OF THE WEEK  
Doug Ogilvie, Western Illinois

Jr. // Oswego, Ill.
Ogilvie earns the sixth weekly honor of his career after winning both boards in Western Illinois' season opener against Saint Louis.  The junior diver won the one-meter dive with a league-best score of 269.00 and the three-meter dive with 257.35 points, second-best in the league.

Also nominated: Clark Kocourek, South Dakota State.

WOMEN'S DIVER OF THE WEEK
Greysen Hertting, South Dakota

Fr. // Appleton, Wis.
Hertting captures her first career Diver of the Week award after winning the one-meter and three-meter dives in her first collegiate meet.  She finished first-of-six in the one-meter with a league-high score of 244.45 and first-of-five in the three-meter with 238.45 points, which is second-best in the league.

Also nominated: Miranda Knipfer, Omaha; Olivia Olesiak, South Dakota State; Julia Rassmussen, Western Illinois.
