South Dakota State's Paluch Named Player of the Week

ELMHURST, Ill. – South Dakota State guard Steph Paluch was named The Summit League's Women's Basketball Player of the Week for her performances Nov. 11-17.

Paluch earns her first career Player of the Week award after leading South Dakota State to a pair of victories last week. In a win over UNI, the senior scored 16 points with five rebounds and three assists while sinking six-of-10 shots from the field. She added 15 points, three boards and two assists in the win over Georgetown Friday, while scoring 17 points with four assists and hitting 89 percent (8-of-9) of her shots in a five-point loss at Creighton on Tuesday. For the week, Paluch averaged 16 points, 3.7 rebounds, three assists with a 2.3 assist-to-turnover ratio. She also shot 67 percent (18-of-27) from the field, 70 percent (7-of-10) from three-point range and 71 percent (5-of-7) at the free throw line.
