Fort Wayne's Hyde Earns Player of the Week Honors
ELMHURST, Ill. – Fort Wayne guard Amanda Hyde was named The Summit League's Women's Basketball Player of the Week for her performances Dec. 16-22.

Hyde collects her second Player of the Week award this season and fourth of her career after falling one assist shy of a triple-double in a win at Detroit on Saturday. The senior guard scored 23 points, grabbed 13 rebounds and dished out nine assists in the victory. She added one steal while shooting 77.8 percent (7-of-9) from the field and 75 percent (3-of-4) from behind the arc. Her 13 rebounds and nine assists were both career-highs and over two times higher than her season averages entering the game. She also leads the league in scoring and field goal percentage on the year.
