Kansas City's Patino Named Player of the Week
ELMHURST, Ill. – Kansas City's Tomas Patino was named as The Summit League's men's tennis player of the week for his performance Feb. 12-Feb. 18.

Patino collects his second career honor, both this season, after posting a 2-0 record along with a doubles victories during the week. Against No. 51 Arkansas, Patino rallied for a three-set victory at No. 1 singles (1-6, 6-4, 10-7) over Mike Ward. Patino also was part of the Kangaroos tandem that notched an 8-4 doubles victory over the Razorbacks in a 5-2 loss. Playing the No. 2 singles position, Patino scored a straight-set (3 and 1) victory over Air Force's Grant Taylor. Patino owns identical 9-4 singles and doubles records this season.
