Kansas City’s Dalvai Named Women's Player of the Week

ELMHURST, Ill. – Kansas City's Eva Dalvai was named as The Summit League's women's tennis player of the week for her performance Jan. 29-Feb. 4.

Dalvai earns her second career award and first of the season after notching singles and doubles victories as Kansas City defeated Drake for the first time in school history. Playing the No. 2 doubles position with teammate Gabby Pintos, the tandem clinched the doubles point for the 'Roos with an 8-6 win over Drake's team of Boyd/Van Genechten. Competing at No. 2 singles, Dalvai scored a straight-set (7-5, 6-1) win, her first of the season, over Lea Kozulic to put UMKC in control of the match at 3-1.
